Presenter Guidelines

Speaker information

To ensure that all talks are visible on the online platform speakers (both remote and in-person) will need to upload their talk to our (windows based) system in advance of their session. You will not be able to use your own laptop.

Powerpoint (preferred) or PDF files (note: keynote is not accepted) need to be uploaded to our system via a link (which will be emailed to attendees directly, and available via your session chair). Talks must be uploaded in good time in advance of the session, a minimum of an hour before it starts. 

Movies/other media should be embedded in the presentation (or, at your own risk, streamed via the internet) where possible. Please approach the streaming technician in your room in a break in advance of the session to check that your presentation works as intended.

Remote speakers will be given a zoom link to connect to by their session chair, which will allow them to present via the online system by simply sharing their screen. We request online presenters to please upload your talk to the system anyway, in case of technical issues.

Poster Presenters

Attendees with a poster who are attending in-person will be able to put their posters up from 8:00am on Monday 3rd July and all posters must be removed by 2:15pm on Friday 7th July. Any uncollected posters after this time may be disposed of. Posters will be grouped by session and assigned a unique identifier in advance, so you know where to put them. Please check at the reception desk if you are unsure.

Posters should ideally be created in A0 size, portrait orientation. If you require a landscape poster then the maximum size is A1 landscape. 

All posters (both those presented in-person, and those from online only poster-presenters) should be uploaded (via a link emailed direclty to you separately) in PDF format, to ensure they are visible to all online attendees. This should be completed by Wednesday 28th June, to allow us time to upload them to the online system. Late uploads will be accepted, but may not be available in the system by the start of the conference.
