Schools Astronomy Day
On Wednesday 5th July, from 12:30-2:30pm, we are pleased to be hosting invited local secondary schools and their Year 8 classes for an afternoon of astronomy talks at Cardiff University. Parallel sessions will take place in both the medium of Welsh and English, with talks about galaxies, stars, supernovae and much more! Invited speakers include Andrew Cook, Carys Evans, and Luke Booth for English medium; and Prof. Geraint Jones, Dr. Gwenllian Williams and Cai Stoddard-Jones for Welsh medium.
